Onepage is founder-led, self-funded, and profitable, and we're starting our next chapter: Onepage is becoming a group. The website builder remains our engine. Around it, we're building a portfolio of software brands that matter to our target audience – small and medium-sized businesses and agencies.
To do this, we're building a new function within the company – and we're looking for the person who builds it with us. You'll work directly with the CEO and the Finance team, build the pipeline, evaluate deals, and maintain relationships with the owners of potential targets.
You don't just want to support deals — you want to think, negotiate, and decide alongside us? Join us as M&A Manager (m/f/d)!
Your Responsibilities
- Market Screening & Target Identification: You identify potential acquisition candidates (targets) and evaluate them together with our CEO and Finance team based on strategic criteria.
- Deal Flow & Pipeline: You systematically build our deal flow – through direct outreach, brokers, networks, and our ecosystem of customers and agency partners – and keep the pipeline structured and up to date.
- Engagement with Targets: You stay in direct contact with owners and management of potential target companies and build an initial basis for discussion.
- Deal Analysis & Valuation: Together with the Finance team, you prepare company valuations (e.g., DCF, multiples-based methods) and business cases for potential transactions.
- Due Diligence: You support the commercial, legal, and tax review of target companies — in coordination with the CEO, Finance team, and external advisors (lawyers, tax advisors, auditors).
- Negotiation & Structuring: You help prepare negotiations of term sheets, LOIs, and purchase agreements, and support them together with the CEO.
- Transaction Support: You support transactions from initiation through signing/closing, in close coordination with the CEO and Finance team.
- Post-Merger Integration: You support integration planning following a successful acquisition and develop an integration playbook with us that we reuse deal after deal.
